Lotus People
Story
Lotus People are preparing for a pretty big challenge, on May 10th we're walking 46km from the CBD to Manly to raise awareness for youth homelessness in Australia.
For over 6 years, Lotus People has passionately supported Stepping Stone House, a charity dedicated to tackling youth homelessness. Nearly 46,000 people under the age of 25 are experiencing homelessness in Australia. Stepping Stone House works tirelessly to provide care, accommodation, and development to these young people at risk or experiencing homelessness.
Our team has set a significant goal: to walk 46km in one day to raise both funds and awareness for this cause. We wanted to set ourselves a big challenge to make a meaningful impact!
We've also committed to raising $4,000 as a team. This amount will provide essential school supplies to 8 young people for one year or cover 47 weeks of groceries for a young person in residential care.
We greatly appreciate any donations, no matter the size. Your support will make a real difference in the lives of vulnerable young people. Thank you for joining us to support in this important cause!
And if you want to get involved, you too can join the movement this May and tackle Step by Step: The 46km Challenge, in any way you like!
